Muiz Roslihuddin

He/Him | 29 year old | Powerlifting

Muiz started with a squat.

Someone told him his form was great, and that small moment of recognition opened a door. He started learning the deadlift, then the bench press, and before long he was a powerlifter — not because he set out to be one, but because he followed what felt right.

He trains 3 to 4 times a week, not chasing a podium, but chasing consistency. On the days when it's not his best session, he shows up anyway — and finds something just as valuable. Watching other people work hard, push themselves, be there for each other. That energy is enough.

Powerlifting has given Muiz two things he didn't expect: discipline and confidence. And somewhere along the way, training with others helped him become more comfortable around people too — the guy who's usually quiet and a little anxious turns out to be someone who loves to joke around, easy to talk to once you get there.

His proudest moment wasn't a number on the bar. It was showing up to his first meet. He'd convinced himself he wasn't ready, that he needed to hit a certain weight first. He went anyway — surrounded by people who believed in him before he fully believed in himself.

"To be amazing at something is to start."

Outside the gym, Muiz keeps it simple: good food, good friends, and always learning something new.
